Jager sunk his teeth into a pheasant and ripped off a large piece of flesh. As he
chewed he closed his eyes and savoured the taste of the blood and juices sinking
onto his tongue and sliding down his throat. Jager swallowed the piece of meat before
lowered his head and pulling off another piece. Nearby, his friend Noruck was making
short work of his own meal as he ravenously tore flesh from the pheasant's bones.
